For a long time, everyone has been calling Ayumu Kasuga "Osaka", and here, Yukari has even written her name as 'Osaka' in the class roster.
From earlier, we know that Kagura is a good athlete and that Yukari is obsessed with winning the athletic festival, which is why the latter transferred the former to her class.
Kagura talks to Sakaki about how they ended up fighting for the top spot in the sports festival and the marathon (Sakaki, however, remembers nothing about this).
Kagura refers to the time when Tomo sprinted out of the gate during the marathon.
Sakaki shows Chiyo her hand which is in tatters from having been repeatedly bitten by cats.
Yukari and Nyamo watch "100 Shocking Moments Caught on Film" on the TV.
Osaka, Tomo, and Yomi discuss the Chinese martial artist Bruce Lee's name. Osaka thought his name was Lee Bruce (because she was mixing up Western name order and Asian name order), while Tomo thought his name was Blue Three. This is because the name Bruce Lee, when written with Japanese characters, sounds exactly the same as "Blue Three" written with Japanese characters (the "S" and "Th" sounds and "R" and "L" sounds are pronounced the same way). Osaka suggests that if Bruce Lee is Blue Three, then the fellow Chinese martial artist Jackie Chan could be Blue Five.
Chiyo says she learned a bit about palm-reading from watching the TV.

Memorable Moments[]
The start of the girls' second year of high school.
Even though Tomo and Yomi have been spending time together since the start of the series (somewhat reluctantly on Yomi's part), it was not revealed that they had been together since elementary school before this chapter.
Osaka is briefly led to believe that she is no longer in Yukari-sensei's class, but she had simply missed the name "Osaka" in the roster because she was looking for her real name Ayumu Kasuga. From this point forward, even Yukari refers to her as Osaka, which is why the strip is titled "Goodbye, Ayumu Kasuga."
Kagura becomes an official member of Class 3. This was one of the few changes made to the class since Yukari was too lazy to learn lots of new names and faces.
Kagura starts showing interest in Sakaki because she thinks they are much alike, when in fact Sakaki is nowhere near as tomboyish and devoted to sports as Kagura is.
