Masaki Kawanabe (川鍋 雅樹 Kawanabe Masaki), born on January 24, 1972, in Saitama Prefecture, is the Japanese voice actor of a male student from ep. 20 of the Azumanga Daioh anime. Kawanabe is employed by Gokuu Production (formerly with Gekidan 21st Century Fox). He is 174 cm tall and his blood type is B. He likes wine, the colour red, umibudou (a type of seaweed), and driving. He is also interested in illustration and drawing. He is also a screen and stage actor, having performed in various theatre productions and several TV commercials. He was in the TV drama Sayonara, Ozu-sensei and was cast in the live-action movie for GTO (as Saitou). He is also known for Fairy Tail, where he played a number of different roles, and InuYasha.
