Osaka talks about drawing or printing out New Year's cards.
Kagura and Tomo discuss whether Chiyo-chan still believes in Santa Claus, and how Santa's existence could be explained in that case.
Tomo doesn't believe in reindeer because she thinks they are flying deer, like they are often depicted when they appear in Christmas carols, stories and art.
It is unknown what happened to the foreigner whom Yukari tried to help by carrying his bags, but ran away from when she learned that he was German.
We do not find out where Yukari got the holiday gift catalog from, since she was only interested in looking at pictures of food.
Chiyo brings something to Yukari in the teachers' room, but it is not known what it is or why she brought it.
Where the fart came from that Osaka smelled but that wasn't hers.
Kagura embarrasses herself when she tries to help a foreigner with his bags, despite the fact that she can not speak English very well.
Kagura meets Kamineko (the first time anyone other than Sakaki has met it in the series) and tries to discipline it by hitting it when it tries to bite Sakaki.
Yukari calls Chiyo "Chiyosuke", a way of teasing her by adding a common ending to Japanese boys' names to her name. This is repeated later in the series.
Tomo asks Yomi and Chiyo what they would want if they could have anything for a Christmas present. Yomi replies "a hundred trillion yen" and Chiyo says she wants the big star put on top of the Christmas tree in front of the train station.
Everyone judges Tomo when she says she doesn't believe in reindeer.
HELP! HELP! HELP ME!!

Ah-ha-ha! Why would I be the one buying gifts? Don't be stupid.
— Yukari (to Nyamo)
Ice cream? Excuse me? Are you being childish, or just showing off your bourgeois background? BECAUSE YOU KNOW THE MATSUZAKA BEEF IS BETTER, RIGHT!?
— Yukari (to Chiyo)
As I was in my room alone last night … From outta nowhere … I smelled a fart that wasn't from me …
Hey, Chiyo-chan! You one of those kids who still believes in Santa?
That's right, I'm Santa! The government pays for the presents!
